Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. She has starred in many films and TV shows, such as "Christy", a story of a girl named Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was just seven. Her aunt, who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped her land an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of parts in both the television and film industries. Martin is a professional actress and a skilled dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for over twenty years. As a mother to two kids, she's been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. Martin has been spreading the word about the disease since her sister's death due to the disease at 19.
